Choose an accent color for the tiny cornerstones and narrow flange to bring these wonderful black and white prints to life. We made our model with taupe accents for an elegant look but bright fabrics like fuchsia or taxi yellow will make the accents pop. The unique construction of the large second border cornerstones make the black and white blocks appear to float and yet, continue the chain effect of the tiny cornerstones. The pattern contains clear graphics, a scant 1/4 inch seam allowance practice and tips to get well-behaved borders every time. It is a great project for practicing the design technique of sashing and cornerstones!
