I love Humbug Bags and have made many over the years for myself and for gifts! One of my own I used so much that the fabric wore out. I was sad! Two ideas I want to share: I make my own bias tape with either the outer fabric or matching fabric and use it as the handle - I make it long enough so that all three sizes can fit very easily over a standard doorknob (great for going to hotels, bathroom/bedrooms, to use as makeup bags, purses, toy bags etc. I also pick out 3 different fun zipper pulls/charms that mean something to my friend (their initial, birthstone, a pet, a shared memory, etc) That extra touch really makes these bags special!

Hi! Just felt like telling you I just finished about my “umpteenth” placemat from a pattern I bought some years ago. Table Graces by Jean Dunn Designs. I love the placemats and therefore have my own and have given away many sets to friends and family.

I just wanted to write and tell you that I just finished the top of the holiday dressing tree skirt and it was really a delight. I’m a beginner (been quilting a year now) but I like a challenge. It came out great and it was neat to see how all the angels fit together. At first I could not get it but wow- it is dynamic and looks so neat. I’m going to make at least one more. Big gain, low pain.

I just finished my 5th Christmas patch tree skirt! I did two last year as gifts, two more this year as gifts and finally one for our family. I am writing to tell you they are beautiful! Each one different, each one turned out. Thanks! Probably the best $9 I have spent in a long time!!
