Easy fusible applique construction make this a wise beginner pattern. These four owls make great pillows or blocks for a child's quilt too. Take your pick of techniques:

The pattern includes instructions for a hanging sleeve and how to make your own pillow inserts. This is a friendly beginner's class all in one pattern.
