Ocean Waves in big blocks makes a quilt that is stunning, but not too difficult. The piecing is easy, but looks very impressive! The block is traditional and the effect is very modern when you use beautiful batiks to piece it. Part of the fun of making this is playing with the arrangement of colors to create movement. Make sure half of your fabrics are dark and half are light for best results. Cutting Layouts included -play with scraps or purchase yardage. The triangles are easiest cut in pairs, a large half square ruler will be useful if you are cutting single triangles.
